Mini Chart

A small, live price chart for one symbol — light enough to sit anywhere on a page.

The Mini Chart widget shows a compact sparkline for a single symbol — its recent price path plus the current price and percentage change — small enough to sit inside a sidebar, a card, or a list row, not just a full-width strip.

Unlike FMchart's other widgets, Mini Chart uses a web component instead of an iframe: it's a small HTML tag (<fmchart-mini-chart>) that runs directly on your page, alongside one shared loader script. That means you can drop several Mini Chart tags on the same page — one per symbol — and they all share a single script load.

  1. Configure the widget on the right and click "Apply preview".
  2. Copy the embed code once it appears.
  3. Paste it into your website's HTML where you want the widget to show up.

Frequently asked questions

What's different about this widget technically?

It's a web component, not an iframe — the chart renders as a custom HTML element on your own page rather than inside a separate embedded document. Functionally it looks the same; the difference is under the hood.

How often does it update?

Roughly every 20 seconds, the same as the Crypto Ticker widget.

Can I embed more than one Mini Chart on the same page?

Yes — each one is created separately in the Widget Builder (different symbol, own allowed domains), but they all share the one loader script, so the page only downloads it once.

Which symbols and timeframes are supported?

Any symbol FMchart has candle history for, at 5m/15m/1h/4h/1d/1w. FMchart's own composite symbols (FMCHART:*-USD) tend to have the deepest history.
