Questions
About the FMchart platform
What is FMchart?
FMchart is an all-in-one web platform for financial market charts and analytics. It brings interactive charts, market data for crypto, stocks, ETFs and indices, and crypto derivatives analytics into one workspace. It provides market information only, not investment advice.
Which markets can I chart?
Crypto spot and perpetual markets, US stocks, ETFs and indices. Crypto prices use FMCHART composite indices — one USD price per coin built from several exchanges — so a chart does not depend on a single venue.
What charting tools are included?
Candlestick, line, area, Heikin Ashi, Renko and other chart types, more than 140 technical indicators, drawing tools such as trend lines, channels and Fibonacci levels, symbol comparison, and layouts of 1, 2, 4 or 6 charts with a synced crosshair.
Do I need an account?
No. Charts, indicators, drawing tools, heatmaps and derivatives pages work without signing up. A free account adds watchlists, alerts and saved layouts.
How does the Crypto Market Heatmap work?
Each bubble is a coin from the top of the market. Its colour shows the price change over the selected period, from 5 minutes to 1 year, and its size can follow price change, market cap or volume. Filter by category and click a bubble to open that coin's chart.
What derivatives data does FMchart cover?
A futures overview, open interest by coin and exchange, funding rates normalized per 8 hours, long/short ratios, perpetual futures volume, recorded liquidations, and estimated liquidation maps, heatmaps and levels.
Does the Liquidation Map show real liquidations?
No. The Liquidation Map is an estimate: it projects where open positions could be liquidated, using open interest and an assumed mix of leverage. Liquidations that have already happened are shown in the Liquidation Tracker.
How often is the data updated?
Crypto charts update in real time. The crypto heatmap and the liquidation map refresh every minute. Stocks, ETFs and indices follow their exchange trading hours and update while their market is open.
ETF Heatmap
Bubbles and statistics for US-listed exchange-traded funds
Compare US-listed ETFs in one view. Bubble size reflects the price change over the selected timeframe (1H to 1Y) or trading volume, and color shows its direction. The table lists price, volume and performance for the funds in the selected rank range.
About the ETF Heatmap
The FMchart ETF heatmap puts US-listed exchange-traded funds side by side. Each fund is a bubble whose color shows if its price rose or fell. Bigger bubbles mean bigger moves over the period you pick.
Funds are ranked by trading volume, so the most actively traded ETFs come first. Size the bubbles by volume to see where money is flowing, or by price change to find the strongest and weakest funds.
Many ETFs track an index, a sector or a commodity. That makes this heatmap a quick way to see which parts of the market are leading or lagging. The table lists price, volume and performance, and every fund opens in the full chart.
Switch the timeframe from one hour to one year to compare short-term swings with longer trends. Outside US trading hours, prices stay at the last session until the market reopens. After logging in, you can show only the funds in your watchlist.
Frequently asked questions
Which ETFs are shown?
The heatmap shows US-listed exchange-traded funds, ranked by trading volume.
How is an ETF heatmap different from a stock heatmap?
A stock heatmap compares individual companies. An ETF heatmap compares funds, many of which track an index, sector or commodity, so it shows which market segments are moving.
What timeframes are available?
You can compare price changes from one hour up to one year. Colors and bubble sizes update to the period you select.
Can I open an ETF chart from the heatmap?
Yes. Hover a fund to see a quick summary with a small price chart, then open it in the full FMchart charting workspace.
