Questions
About the FMchart platform
What is FMchart?
FMchart is an all-in-one web platform for financial market charts and analytics. It brings interactive charts, market data for crypto, stocks, ETFs and indices, and crypto derivatives analytics into one workspace. It provides market information only, not investment advice.
Which markets can I chart?
Crypto spot and perpetual markets, US stocks, ETFs and indices. Crypto prices use FMCHART composite indices — one USD price per coin built from several exchanges — so a chart does not depend on a single venue.
What charting tools are included?
Candlestick, line, area, Heikin Ashi, Renko and other chart types, more than 140 technical indicators, drawing tools such as trend lines, channels and Fibonacci levels, symbol comparison, and layouts of 1, 2, 4 or 6 charts with a synced crosshair.
Do I need an account?
No. Charts, indicators, drawing tools, heatmaps and derivatives pages work without signing up. A free account adds watchlists, alerts and saved layouts.
How does the Crypto Market Heatmap work?
Each bubble is a coin from the top of the market. Its colour shows the price change over the selected period, from 5 minutes to 1 year, and its size can follow price change, market cap or volume. Filter by category and click a bubble to open that coin's chart.
What derivatives data does FMchart cover?
A futures overview, open interest by coin and exchange, funding rates normalized per 8 hours, long/short ratios, perpetual futures volume, recorded liquidations, and estimated liquidation maps, heatmaps and levels.
Does the Liquidation Map show real liquidations?
No. The Liquidation Map is an estimate: it projects where open positions could be liquidated, using open interest and an assumed mix of leverage. Liquidations that have already happened are shown in the Liquidation Tracker.
How often is the data updated?
Crypto charts update in real time. The crypto heatmap and the liquidation map refresh every minute. Stocks, ETFs and indices follow their exchange trading hours and update while their market is open.

Live crypto bubbles and market statistics from FMchart composite price indices
See which cryptocurrencies are gaining or losing at a glance. By default, bubble size reflects the price change over the selected timeframe (5m to 1Y) and color shows its direction; you can also size bubbles by market cap or 24h volume. Prices are FMchart composite indices built from one or more exchanges, refreshed every minute.
About the Cryptocurrency Heatmap
The FMchart crypto heatmap turns the whole market into one picture. Every coin is a bubble. Its color tells you whether the price went up or down, and its size tells you how big the move was.
You choose the period, from five minutes to one year. You also choose what the bubbles measure: percentage change to spot the biggest movers, market cap to see where most of the value sits, or 24-hour volume to see where trading is busiest. Bubble labels can show the change, name, rank, volume or market cap.
Prices come from FMchart composite indices. Instead of quoting a single exchange, each index combines prices from one or more exchanges, usually several, into one USD value. This makes a sudden spike on one venue less likely to distort the picture. The data refreshes every minute.
Below the bubbles, a sortable table lists the coins in the selected rank range. It shows price, market cap, fully diluted value, 24-hour volume and the number of exchanges in each index. Hover a coin to see its supply, all-time high and low, and a seven-day chart, or open it in the full chart.
Frequently asked questions
What does a crypto heatmap show?
It shows the whole crypto market at once. Each coin is a bubble colored by the direction of its price move and sized by that move, its market cap or its trading volume.
Which timeframes can I compare?
You can switch between periods from five minutes up to one year. Colors and bubble sizes update to the price change over the period you select.
Where do the prices come from?
Prices are FMchart composite indices. Each one combines prices from one or more exchanges into a single USD value, and the table shows how many exchanges each index uses.
How often is the data updated?
The heatmap refreshes automatically every minute. The ring next to the settings button counts down to the next update, and you can click it to refresh right away.
Can I filter the coins?
Yes. You can pick a rank range (1–100, 101–200 and so on), hide stablecoins, change the color palette, and, after logging in, show only the coins in your watchlist.
