Volume Bubbles Chart (1h)
Each 1-hour candle's volume is signed by its direction (up candles count as net buying, down candles as net selling) and drawn as a bubble at the closing price, green for buying and red for selling. Bubble size and colour intensity show how strong that flow is compared with the last 300 candles: the strongest 30% get full bubbles with their USD value, the rest stay as small dots. Unusually large bubbles flag aggressive buying or selling worth a closer look, often near breakouts, reversals or key levels.Seasonal Chart
Plots one line per calendar year showing the % change since the start of that year, with the current year highlighted against up to four previous years. Lining the years up on the same calendar shows whether the price tends to rise or fall in the same months, helping you spot recurring seasonal patterns. Treat it as context rather than a forecast: past seasonality does not guarantee future moves.Aerodrome Finance Markets

About Aerodrome Finance (AERO)
Aerodrome Finance (AERO) is a decentralized exchange on Base, Coinbase's layer 2 network. It launched in August 2023, built by the team behind Velodrome on Optimism. AERO is the exchange's reward and voting token. Its developer, Dromos Labs, plans to merge Aerodrome and Velodrome into one exchange called Aero. This page shows AERO at FMchart's composite US dollar price, built from several exchanges.
Liquidity pools and weekly emissions
Traders swap tokens against pools that liquidity providers fund. Aerodrome pays those providers in AERO emissions, while trading fees go to voters. Emissions began at 15 million AERO per weekly epoch and fell by 1% each week. Once they dropped below 6 million, weekly emissions became a share of circulating supply, starting at 0.30%. As a result, AERO has no fixed maximum supply. Emissions follow the votes, so pools that attract more votes receive more rewards.
Locking AERO for veAERO
Holders can lock AERO for up to four years to receive veAERO, an NFT. Its voting power fades as the lock runs down, while permanent locks keep full voting power. Each week, veAERO holders vote on which pools receive emissions. Votes can be cast once per weekly epoch. Locked holders also receive extra AERO through rebases, in proportion to their share of all locked AERO.
Fees and bribes for voters
Aerodrome splits rewards between two groups. Liquidity providers earn AERO emissions for the pools they fund. Voters earn what those pools generate: the trading fees, plus outside incentives that projects pay to attract votes, often called bribes. Rewards are shared in proportion to the voting power each holder puts behind a pool in that epoch. This lets projects compete for emissions by paying voters, and it ties voters' income to the pools they choose to support.
Plans to merge into Aero
In November 2025, Dromos Labs announced plans to merge Aerodrome with Velodrome, its sister exchange on Optimism. The result would be a single exchange called Aero with one AERO token. In September 2026, the team gave 21 October 2026 as the planned launch date. It said staked AERO, called sAERO, would direct rewards and earn a share of exchange revenue. Conversion details for holders come from the team's official announcements and from each exchange or wallet.
Emissions, merger and competition
Weekly emissions keep adding new AERO, which dilutes holders who do not lock their tokens. A planned merger and token conversion can bring delays, confusion over token contracts and copycat scams. Decentralized exchanges compete hard for liquidity and traders, and incentives can shift quickly between them. Weekly votes can also move emissions away from a pool, changing its rewards. AERO's price has been volatile since it launched in 2023.

Aerodrome Finance (AERO) FAQ
What is Aerodrome Finance (AERO)?
Aerodrome Finance is a decentralized exchange on Base that launched in 2023. AERO pays liquidity providers through weekly emissions, and holders can lock it as veAERO to vote on which pools get those emissions. Its developer, Dromos Labs, plans to merge it with Velodrome into a new exchange called Aero.
What is veAERO?
veAERO is a vote-escrowed NFT created by locking AERO for up to four years. Its voting power fades as the lock nears its end unless it is locked permanently. Holders vote weekly on which pools get AERO emissions and earn those pools' trading fees and incentives, plus rebases.
How do Aerodrome emissions work?
Aerodrome pays liquidity providers in AERO emissions each weekly epoch. Emissions began at 15 million AERO and fell 1% a week. Once they dropped below 6 million, weekly emissions became a share of circulating supply, starting at 0.30%, so AERO has no fixed maximum supply.
What is AERO trading at?
AERO trades around $0.6664 on FMchart's composite, which merges several exchanges' quotes into a single dollar value. About $12.74M of AERO traded in the last 24 hours across the exchanges in FMchart's composite. Pools on Base may quote a slightly different rate at any instant.
What is Aerodrome's market cap and supply?
About 835,022,635 AERO are circulating, and there is no fixed maximum because weekly emissions continue. At today's price that gives a market cap of roughly $556.4M, rank 103 by market cap. Holders can lock AERO as veAERO for up to four years.
What is AERO's all-time high?
AERO's highest price in market data is $2.32, reached on Dec 7, 2024. The token's price has swung widely, so that peak offers little guidance, especially around a planned merger. The Price Statistics panel places it next to the all-time low and today's gap to both.
How has AERO performed by month?
In FMchart's composite price history (since March 2025), AERO's top month was September 2026 (+74.2%) and its weakest was December 2025 (-39.4%). The complete monthly sequence is in the Monthly Returns (USD) table, and quarterly closes are in the Quarterly Closing Price (USD) table. None of it guarantees how AERO behaves next.
Who is behind Aerodrome?
Aerodrome is developed by Dromos Labs, the team that also built Velodrome on Optimism. When Aerodrome launched on Base in August 2023, 40% of the initial AERO supply went to Velodrome holders who had locked their tokens. Dromos Labs has also announced plans to merge both exchanges into Aero.
Is AERO a good investment?
FMchart cannot make that judgment for you because it gives no personal investment advice. AERO is tied to an exchange on Base and a planned merger with Velodrome. But emissions keep adding supply, the merger adds uncertainty and competition is intense. The price has been volatile.
What moves the AERO price?
AERO generally follows the wider crypto market and activity on Base. Specific drivers include trading volume and fees, the pace of emissions and how much AERO is locked as veAERO. The planned Aero merger and competition from other exchanges also matter.
