Volume Bubbles Chart (1h)

Each 1-hour candle's volume is signed by its direction (up candles count as net buying, down candles as net selling) and drawn as a bubble at the closing price, green for buying and red for selling. Bubble size and colour intensity show how strong that flow is compared with the last 300 candles: the strongest 30% get full bubbles with their USD value, the rest stay as small dots. Unusually large bubbles flag aggressive buying or selling worth a closer look, often near breakouts, reversals or key levels.

Seasonal Chart

Plots one line per calendar year showing the % change since the start of that year, with the current year highlighted against up to four previous years. Lining the years up on the same calendar shows whether the price tends to rise or fall in the same months, helping you spot recurring seasonal patterns. Treat it as context rather than a forecast: past seasonality does not guarantee future moves.

About Axie Infinity (AXS)

Axie Infinity (AXS) is the governance token of Axie Infinity, a blockchain game universe built around collectible creatures called Axies. Players own their Axies and can buy, sell and trade them. On this page, AXS is quoted through FMchart's composite, which combines trading on several exchanges into a single US dollar price.

Axies, upgrades and the Axie Score

Players collect Axies, battle with them and spend tokens to improve them. According to Axie's February 2026 update, in-game spending includes breeding fees, ascensions and evolutions, forging new materials, and minting Runes and Charms. Axie also tracks an Axie Score, a points measure of each player's contributions across gameplay, community participation and asset ownership. A community-based council oversees how the Axie Score evolves, adding new badges based on player feedback.

Axie Infinity Shards and a 270 million cap

AXS stands for Axie Infinity Shards. The whitepaper says total supply will never exceed 270,000,000 AXS. It allocates 29% to staking rewards, 21% to Sky Mavis, 20% to play and earn, 11% to the public sale, 8% to an ecosystem fund, 7% to advisors and 4% to a private sale. The whitepaper set an unlock schedule lasting 65 months from the public sale. Holders can stake AXS to earn rewards. By November 2025, about 95% of the staking rewards allocation had been paid out, and from December 1, 2025, staking rewards began falling by 5% every nine days.

A Community Treasury and a new foundation

Axie describes its Community Treasury as a decentralized fund that collects revenue from in-game and marketplace activities. In August 2025, Axie announced the Axie Infinity Foundation, a non-profit set up to deploy Community Treasury assets only as directed by community votes. Sky Mavis said it would fund the Foundation's operating costs for at least two years from its Ecosystem Fund. Axie says the most important decisions should be guided by active contributors, measured through the Axie Score.

Bonded AXS, live since February 2026

In February 2026, Axie introduced bonded AXS, or bAXS, an in-game token backed 1:1 by AXS. It went live on February 26, 2026, and can be spent inside Axie but not traded or transferred. Converting bAXS back to AXS uses an exchange rate based on a player's Axie Score, and the difference goes to the Axie Treasury. Axie said eligible wallets would receive bAXS from a 100,000 bAXS airdrop pool in the days after launch.

The Ronin hack and dependence on players

Axie Infinity is linked to Ronin, a sidechain that the Ronin bridge connected to Ethereum. In March 2022, attackers took 173,600 ETH and 25.5 million USDC from that bridge, CoinDesk reported. The haul was worth about $625 million at the time. U.S. officials attributed the theft to North Korea's Lazarus Group. Beyond security, AXS depends on how many people keep playing and spending in Axie games. Unlocks, reward changes and shifts in game design can all affect demand.

What is Axie Infinity (AXS)?

AXS, short for Axie Infinity Shards, is the governance token of Axie Infinity, a game universe where players collect, breed and battle creatures called Axies. Holders can stake AXS for rewards, which have been falling by 5% every nine days since December 1, 2025. Total supply is capped at 270 million tokens.

What is the Axie Score?

The Axie Score is a point system that Axie calls a player's "Axie resume." It reflects contributions across gameplay, community participation, asset ownership and more. A higher score gives a better exchange rate when converting bAXS to AXS, and a community-based council oversees how the score evolves.

Who owns Axie Infinity?

Sky Mavis holds 21% of the AXS supply under the whitepaper's allocation. In August 2025, Axie announced the Axie Infinity Foundation, a non-profit that deploys Community Treasury assets only as directed by community votes, with Sky Mavis funding its operating costs for at least two years.

What is bAXS?

Bonded AXS, or bAXS, is an in-game token backed 1:1 by AXS that went live on February 26, 2026. It can be spent inside Axie, for example to evolve Axies, but not traded or transferred, and converting it back to AXS uses an exchange rate based on Axie Score. What happened in the Ronin bridge hack?

In March 2022, attackers drained 173,600 ETH and 25.5 million USDC from the Ronin bridge, which connected Axie's Ronin network to Ethereum. The haul was worth about $625 million then. In April 2022, the U.S. Treasury and FBI attributed it to North Korea's Lazarus Group.

Is AXS a good investment?

Whether AXS suits anyone is a personal decision, and FMchart gives no investment advice. AXS demand depends on player activity in Axie games, token unlocks and changes to game economics. The 2022 Ronin hack showed the security risks around gaming chains, and gaming tokens can lose value quickly.
