Volume Bubbles Chart (1h)

Each 1-hour candle's volume is signed by its direction (up candles count as net buying, down candles as net selling) and drawn as a bubble at the closing price, green for buying and red for selling. Bubble size and colour intensity show how strong that flow is compared with the last 300 candles: the strongest 30% get full bubbles with their USD value, the rest stay as small dots. Unusually large bubbles flag aggressive buying or selling worth a closer look, often near breakouts, reversals or key levels.

Seasonal Chart

Plots one line per calendar year showing the % change since the start of that year, with the current year highlighted against up to four previous years. Lining the years up on the same calendar shows whether the price tends to rise or fall in the same months, helping you spot recurring seasonal patterns. Treat it as context rather than a forecast: past seasonality does not guarantee future moves.

About USD.AI (CHIP)

USD.AI (CHIP) refers to CHIP, the governance token of the USD.AI protocol. USD.AI is a lending protocol built to finance AI infrastructure. GPU operators can tokenize their hardware as collateral and borrow against it. CHIP holders vote on the rules for that lending. This page tracks CHIP at FMchart's composite price, a US dollar average across several exchanges. Binance lists the same CHIP contract address on Ethereum and Arbitrum.

Loans backed by GPUs

AI data centers run on expensive graphics processors, or GPUs. USD.AI lets operators use enterprise-grade GPUs as loan collateral. Its docs list eligible hardware such as the RTX Pro 6000, H200, B200 and GB200 families. Decisions made by CHIP holders shape the quality of assets backing USDai, the protocol's dollar token. Permian Labs builds the protocol, and in August 2025 it raised a $13 million Series A led by Framework Ventures. CoinDesk described the model as GPU-backed stablecoin lending.

What CHIP holders vote on

CHIP governance decides which GPUs count as collateral and on what terms. Holders set risk parameters such as maximum loan-to-value ratios and interest rate ranges. They also approve depreciation schedules, which reflect how quickly used GPUs lose resale value. Adding a new type of collateral requires a governance vote. The docs state that CHIP does not represent equity, ownership or a claim on protocol assets. As new GPU generations come to market, CHIP governance decides how they are onboarded.

Staking as a backstop

CHIP can be staked for sCHIP. A shortfall can mean loan losses exceeding reserves or an oracle failure. In that case, staked CHIP may be used to cover the deficit. Governance defines what counts as a shortfall and caps the amount that can be slashed. Unstaking is not immediate, because cooldown periods apply. The Foundation describes further staking upgrades as exploratory.

Ten billion CHIP and the vesting schedule

CHIP has a maximum supply of 10 billion tokens. When Binance listed it in April 2026, 2 billion CHIP, or 20%, were circulating. Ecosystem bootstrapping receives 27.5%, of which the first 10% went out in Season 1, known as the Allo Game. Another 19.8% is held as reserves. Team and investor tokens unlock nothing before month 12, then 33% at month 12 and the rest monthly over 24 months.

Credit, hardware and unlock exposure

USD.AI depends on GPU operators repaying their loans and on the resale value of their hardware. If losses exceed reserves, staked CHIP can be slashed to cover the gap. The token began trading in 2026 and has a short trading history. Team and investor allocations are scheduled to begin unlocking after their first 12 months, which will add tokens to circulation. Governance can change staking parameters, cooldowns and collateral rules through votes, so the system may look different over time.

USD.AI (CHIP) FAQ

What is USD.AI (CHIP)?

CHIP is the governance token of USD.AI, a lending protocol that finances AI infrastructure by accepting GPUs as loan collateral. CHIP holders vote on collateral rules, loan-to-value limits and interest rate ranges. The token was listed on Binance in April 2026 and has a 10 billion maximum supply.

What is the difference between CHIP and USDai?

USDai is the protocol's dollar token, while CHIP is its governance token. CHIP holders set the rules that determine the quality of assets backing USDai and the rates borrowers pay. The docs stress that CHIP does not represent equity, ownership or a claim on protocol assets.

What does staking CHIP do?

Staking CHIP gives you sCHIP and puts your tokens in a backstop. If a shortfall occurs, such as loan losses exceeding reserves, staked CHIP may be used to cover the deficit, up to a cap set by governance. Withdrawals face cooldown periods, and the Foundation calls further staking upgrades exploratory.

What is the current CHIP price?

CHIP trades around $0.0518 on FMchart's composite, which blends several exchanges into one US dollar quote. Around $15.65M of CHIP was traded over the past day across the exchanges in FMchart's composite. The chart above starts from CHIP's 2026 listing.

How many CHIP tokens are circulating?

About 2,000,000,000 CHIP are circulating, out of a maximum supply of 10,000,000,000. When Binance listed CHIP in April 2026, 20% of supply was in circulation, and team and investor tokens stay locked until month 12. Circulating CHIP is worth roughly $103.6M, which ranks it 274 among cryptocurrencies.

What is CHIP's record high?

CHIP's record high is $0.1402, set on Apr 23, 2026, based on market data. Price Statistics shows the gap between that level, the all-time low and the current composite price. The token has traded only since 2026, so the record is brief.

What do CHIP's monthly returns show?

In FMchart's composite price history (since April 2026), CHIP's best month on record is August 2026 (+53.2%) and its worst is May 2026 (-39.2%). The full list is in Monthly Returns (USD). CHIP began trading in April 2026, so the record is too short to show long-term behavior.

What was the CHIP sale price on CoinList?

CHIP was offered on CoinList in February 2026 at $0.03 per token, with 700 million CHIP allocated to the sale. Participation was limited to people who had taken part in the Allo Game, USD.AI's first rewards season. Prices since listing have been set by the market.

When did CHIP list on Binance?

CHIP was listed on Binance in April 2026. On April 28, 2026, Binance announced CHIP as a HODLer Airdrops project with 25 million tokens in rewards. At listing, 2 billion of the 10 billion supply was circulating. Binance lists the same CHIP contract address on Ethereum and Arbitrum.

Who builds USD.AI?

Permian Labs builds, launches and operates the USD.AI protocol, according to its tokenomics page. In August 2025, CoinDesk reported that USD.AI raised a $13 million Series A led by Framework Ventures. Team members' CHIP vests over three years, with the first portion released at month 12.
