Volume Bubbles Chart (1h)
Each 1-hour candle's volume is signed by its direction (up candles count as net buying, down candles as net selling) and drawn as a bubble at the closing price, green for buying and red for selling. Bubble size and colour intensity show how strong that flow is compared with the last 300 candles: the strongest 30% get full bubbles with their USD value, the rest stay as small dots. Unusually large bubbles flag aggressive buying or selling worth a closer look, often near breakouts, reversals or key levels.Seasonal Chart
Plots one line per calendar year showing the % change since the start of that year, with the current year highlighted against up to four previous years. Lining the years up on the same calendar shows whether the price tends to rise or fall in the same months, helping you spot recurring seasonal patterns. Treat it as context rather than a forecast: past seasonality does not guarantee future moves.Gram (prev. Toncoin) Markets

About Gram (GRAM)
Gram (GRAM) is the native currency of The Open Network, or TON, a blockchain closely linked to Telegram. Until June 2026 the coin was called Toncoin and traded under the ticker TON. After a community vote, it took back the name Gram, used for the currency in TON's original white paper. The network itself is still called TON. Here, Gram's dollar price is an FMchart composite that draws on several major exchanges.
From Telegram's project to a community network
TON was designed by Telegram's team, and its technical white papers were written by Dr. Nikolai Durov. Telegram planned to launch the network with a token called Gram, but the US Securities and Exchange Commission went to court over the token sale. In 2020 Telegram dropped the project and agreed to return funds to investors. Independent developers kept the open-source code running, and the coin became known as Toncoin.
The 2026 rename to Gram
On 1 June 2026, Telegram founder Pavel Durov announced that Toncoin would be renamed Gram, saying the network was 'returning to our roots'. A TON community vote that closed on 8 June backed the change with 81.22% in favor, and it took effect on 15 June 2026. The ticker switched from TON to GRAM. No swap or migration was needed, so balances, addresses, smart contracts and staking positions stayed exactly the same. Exchanges and wallet apps then switched their listings to the new name and ticker.
Masterchain, workchains and shards
TON is a proof-of-stake network. Validators lock coins to produce blocks and earn rewards, and smaller holders can join them through staking pools. The design has a masterchain that coordinates the whole system, plus workchains that can split into many shardchains when activity rises and merge again when it falls. This dynamic sharding is meant to let the network handle more transactions without pushing up fees. Smart contracts on TON talk to each other by sending messages, a pattern that suits this split design.
Gram inside Telegram
TON is closely tied to Telegram, one of the world's largest messaging apps. People can hold and send Gram through wallets built into or connected to Telegram, and many Telegram Mini Apps run on TON. Gram pays network fees and is used for transfers, staking and payments inside TON apps. That reach also concentrates risk, because the ecosystem leans heavily on a single company.
Dependence on Telegram and other risks
TON's growth depends on Telegram's product choices, and legal or political pressure on Telegram could affect the network. Regulators have acted against the project before. A new name does not change the technology, the supply or the people behind the network. Like other large altcoins, the coin has gone through sharp rallies and steep falls under both of its names.

Gram (prev. Toncoin) (GRAM) FAQ
What is Gram (GRAM)?
Gram is the native cryptocurrency of The Open Network (TON), a proof-of-stake blockchain closely tied to Telegram. It was called Toncoin, with the ticker TON, until June 2026, when it was renamed Gram. It pays network fees, secures the chain through staking and is used for transfers and payments in Telegram-linked apps.
Why was Toncoin renamed Gram?
Gram was the name used for the coin in TON's original white paper, before Telegram abandoned the project in 2020. In June 2026, Pavel Durov proposed restoring it, describing the move as a return to the network's roots. A TON community vote supported the change, and the new name took effect on 15 June 2026.
Do Toncoin holders need to do anything after the rename?
No. The rename from Toncoin to Gram did not create a new token, so no swap, bridge, migration or claim was needed. Balances, wallet addresses, smart contracts and staking positions stayed the same. Only the name and ticker changed, from TON to GRAM, and exchanges updated their listings to match.
What is the price of Gram today?
Gram is trading at about $1.206 on FMchart's composite, which blends quotes from several large exchanges. Approximately $11.42M of GRAM traded in the last 24 hours across the exchanges in FMchart's composite. Because this is a blended figure, one exchange's quote can differ slightly. The 24-hour range sits next to the price.
What is Gram's market cap and supply?
Gram's market capitalization is about $3.42B, placing it at rank 31. Around 2,835,296,247 GRAM are in circulation, while the total supply is a little over 5 billion. There is no fixed maximum supply, because validators receive newly created coins as rewards for securing the network.
What is Gram's all-time high?
Gram's all-time high is $8.25, recorded on Jun 14, 2024. That record may date from when the coin still traded as Toncoin, since the rename kept the same asset and price history. The coin has moved sharply in both directions over the years. The Price Statistics panel also lists the all-time low and the distance from each record.
How has Gram performed by month?
In FMchart's composite price history (since August 2026), the strongest month for the coin is September 2026 (+8.1%), and the weakest is August 2026 (+2.8%). The Monthly Returns (USD) table lists each month, and the Annual Price (USD) Change table shows yearly results. Months before mid-2026 belong to the Toncoin name. Past results do not predict future prices.
What is the relationship between Telegram and TON?
Telegram designed TON and planned to launch it with the Gram token, but stopped in 2020 after US regulators challenged the token sale. Independent developers then kept the network alive. Telegram has since built TON into its app through wallets and Mini Apps, and Pavel Durov announced the 2026 rename back to Gram.
Is Gram a good investment?
FMchart does not give investment advice. Gram is linked to Telegram's large user base, but the network depends heavily on one company's plans, has faced regulatory action before and competes with many other blockchains. A new name does not change the underlying technology or supply. Its price has historically been volatile.
What affects the price of GRAM?
Gram's price tends to move with the wider crypto market. TON-specific drivers include Telegram product decisions, Mini App and wallet activity, staking levels, exchange support for the GRAM ticker, and news about Telegram or its founder. Rules for crypto in Telegram's large user markets can also matter.
