Volume Bubbles Chart (1h)
Each 1-hour candle's volume is signed by its direction (up candles count as net buying, down candles as net selling) and drawn as a bubble at the closing price, green for buying and red for selling. Bubble size and colour intensity show how strong that flow is compared with the last 300 candles: the strongest 30% get full bubbles with their USD value, the rest stay as small dots. Unusually large bubbles flag aggressive buying or selling worth a closer look, often near breakouts, reversals or key levels.Seasonal Chart
Plots one line per calendar year showing the % change since the start of that year, with the current year highlighted against up to four previous years. Lining the years up on the same calendar shows whether the price tends to rise or fall in the same months, helping you spot recurring seasonal patterns. Treat it as context rather than a forecast: past seasonality does not guarantee future moves.Helium Markets
Helium Historical Data
About Helium (HNT)
HNT is the native token of the Helium Network, a wireless network supported by community-deployed hotspots. Helium’s official documentation says the first HNT was emitted on July 29, 2019 and that the network had no HNT pre-mine. On April 18, 2023, Helium migrated from its own blockchain to Solana; the token documentation lists the HNT mint address on Solana as hntyVP6YFm1Hg25TN9WGLqM12b8TQmcknKrdu1oxWux.
Rewards for wireless coverage
Helium says hotspot hosts and operators receive HNT rewards for deploying and maintaining network coverage.
Data Credits and network fees
Helium uses Data Credits (DCs) to pay for wireless data transmissions. The official documentation says one Data Credit equals $0.00001 USD and that data transfer is pinned to USD. DCs are created by burning HNT, and their conversion amount changes with HNT’s USD price as reported by the on-chain Pyth price feed. Once created, DCs are not transferable, and certain actions such as onboarding a hotspot are paid with DCs. Delegation is allowed, but only once. The rate is tied to the on-chain Pyth price feed used by the Data Credits program. The page says all data transfer is pinned to USD, making it predictable.
Supply cap and halving schedule
Helium’s documentation describes a two-year halving schedule approved through HIP-20. The initial maximum was 240 million HNT, reduced by about 17 million after slow blockchain times in year one, so the maximum was about 223 million when HIP-20 was approved. The schedule lists a target emission of 7.5 million HNT for the year beginning August 1, 2026, after the same target in the year beginning August 1, 2025. HIP-20 also sets the max supply adjustment and the Net Emissions design referenced in the documentation. Check the latest on-chain value for current supply rather than treating schedule targets as exact circulating supply.
Net emissions mechanism
Helium introduced Net Emissions in August 2021. The documentation says the mechanism now accounts for all HNT burned, not only HNT burned for Data Credits. The per-epoch cap is now 1,643.83561643 HNT, up from 34.24 HNT when HIP-20 was approved, when epochs were 30 minutes long; epochs are now 24 hours. A smoothing pool for large, infrequent burns was implemented as part of HRP 2025-03.
Reading HNT market data
FMchart’s HNT chart shows composite USD pricing across supported markets. The Markets tab identifies the venues included, while Historical data shows the period covered. Price history does not reveal how many gigabytes of wireless data were carried or how many Data Credits were consumed. Those measures belong to network-usage data; the chart provides a separate view of HNT trading.

Helium (HNT) FAQ
What is Helium (HNT)?
HNT is the native token of the Helium Network. Helium’s documentation says the first HNT was emitted on July 29, 2019 without a pre-mine, and the network migrated to Solana on April 18, 2023. Hotspot hosts and operators receive HNT rewards for deploying and maintaining coverage.
How does HNT pay for Helium network usage?
Helium uses Data Credits to pay for wireless data transmissions and selected actions such as hotspot onboarding. One Data Credit equals $0.00001 USD, and DCs are created by burning HNT. The amount of DC produced per HNT changes with HNT’s USD price from the on-chain Pyth price feed. Once created, Data Credits are non-transferable.
What is HNT’s maximum supply?
Helium’s official documentation says the initial 240 million HNT maximum was reduced by about 17 million after slow blockchain times in year one, leaving about 223 million when HIP-20 was approved. The network follows a two-year halving schedule and uses a capped Net Emissions mechanism to support rewards. Current on-chain supply should be checked separately from schedule targets.
What is HNT’s all-time high?
FMchart’s HNT history records a peak of $54.88 on Nov 12, 2021. When market data is available, the Price Statistics panel provides the historical high. Helium’s token documentation describes Data Credits as USD-pegged and created by burning HNT, with the conversion tied to an on-chain Pyth price feed. That network mechanism is distinct from the market price reached on the recorded date.
How has HNT performed over its available price history?
In FMchart's composite price history (since October 2024), HNT’s monthly return was strongest in August 2026 (+253.5%) and weakest in June 2026 (-67.0%); positive annual-change years number 0 of 1 full calendar year. The chart tracks the token’s market price rather than wireless traffic. Helium’s model links Data Credit creation to HNT burns, and its Net Emissions mechanism now accounts for all HNT burned.
