Volume Bubbles Chart (1h)

Each 1-hour candle's volume is signed by its direction (up candles count as net buying, down candles as net selling) and drawn as a bubble at the closing price, green for buying and red for selling. Bubble size and colour intensity show how strong that flow is compared with the last 300 candles: the strongest 30% get full bubbles with their USD value, the rest stay as small dots. Unusually large bubbles flag aggressive buying or selling worth a closer look, often near breakouts, reversals or key levels.

Seasonal Chart

Plots one line per calendar year showing the % change since the start of that year, with the current year highlighted against up to four previous years. Lining the years up on the same calendar shows whether the price tends to rise or fall in the same months, helping you spot recurring seasonal patterns. Treat it as context rather than a forecast: past seasonality does not guarantee future moves.

About Nexo (NEXO)

NEXO is the token of Nexo, a company that has offered crypto savings, credit lines and trading since 2018. Clients who keep NEXO in their accounts can reach higher loyalty tiers, which change the rates they earn and pay. Its uses sit inside Nexo's own platform rather than on a separate blockchain network. The NEXO price shown here is FMchart's composite of several exchanges, quoted in US dollars.

How the loyalty tiers work

Nexo places each client in a loyalty tier based on how much NEXO they hold compared with the rest of their portfolio. Reaching the top Platinum tier requires at least 10% of the portfolio in NEXO. Taking part in the program also requires a balance above $5,000 in digital assets. Higher tiers bring better savings rates, lower borrowing rates, more exchange and card cashback, and free withdrawals on some networks. Because the tier depends on a ratio, a change in the value of NEXO or other holdings can move a client to a different tier.

One billion tokens, used inside the app

Nexo puts the token's total supply at 1 billion. Nexo has run buybacks of the token, and clients can hold NEXO in flexible or fixed-term savings to earn interest on it. Because so much of its use depends on loyalty benefits, demand for NEXO is closely tied to how many people use Nexo's products. Nexo's own blog presents the token as something like a membership, unlocking higher interest and cheaper loans. Rates, cashback levels and tier rules are set by the company and can change.

The 2023 SEC settlement

In January 2023, Nexo agreed to pay $45 million to settle charges over its Earn Interest Product in the United States. According to the SEC, Nexo began offering the product to US investors around June 2020. The agency found that the product, which paid interest on deposited crypto, was a security that should have been registered. Half of the money went to the SEC and half to state regulators. Nexo also agreed to stop offering that product to US investors.

Relaunch in the United States

Nexo formally returned to the US market in mid-February 2026. This time it works through licensed US partners and, where required, an SEC-registered investment adviser, rather than offering products directly. Bakkt, a publicly traded US crypto firm with several licenses, provides trading infrastructure. The relaunch includes yield products and crypto-backed loans. Cointelegraph describes this partner-led model as a response to the objections behind the 2023 enforcement action.

Counterparty and regulatory risk

Because NEXO's uses all sit inside Nexo's platform, the token depends on the company's health, its relationships with regulators and the trust of its clients. Lending platforms carry counterparty risk, since clients rely on the company to manage and return their assets. Rules for crypto lending differ between countries and can change. The token's price has been volatile over its history.

NEXO (NEXO) FAQ

What is the NEXO token?

NEXO is the token of Nexo, a crypto platform offering savings, credit lines and trading since 2018. Holding NEXO in an account can lift a client into higher loyalty tiers with better rates and cashback. Clients can also earn interest on NEXO itself. Total supply is 1 billion tokens.

How do the Nexo loyalty tiers work?

The tier depends on the share of NEXO in a client's portfolio. Platinum, the highest tier, needs at least 10% held in NEXO, and the program requires an account balance above $5,000 in digital assets. Higher tiers offer better savings and borrowing rates, plus more cashback on trades and card purchases.

Is Nexo available in the US?

Yes, again since mid-February 2026. Nexo relaunched in the United States through licensed US partners and, where required, an SEC-registered investment adviser, with Bakkt providing trading infrastructure. The relaunch covers yield products and crypto-backed loans, delivered through regulated intermediaries rather than directly.

What is the NEXO token price?

NEXO sits at about $0.7947 on FMchart's composite, a dollar value derived from several exchanges. Roughly $493.7K of NEXO traded over the past 24 hours across the exchanges in FMchart's composite. The rate shown inside the Nexo app, or on another exchange, can differ slightly.

How many NEXO tokens exist?

About 1,000,000,000 NEXO are in circulation, and Nexo states a total supply of 1 billion tokens. At the current price, NEXO's market cap is about $794.7M, which puts it at rank 84 by market capitalization. Nexo has also bought back tokens in past programs.

What is NEXO's record price?

NEXO's record price, per market data, is $4.07 from May 12, 2021. As a platform token, it has moved with both the crypto market and news about Nexo itself. It has often traded well under that level. The Price Statistics panel lists the record low too, plus today's distance from each.

How has NEXO performed month by month?

In FMchart's composite price history (since August 2026), NEXO's best month was August 2026 (+16.0%), while September 2026 (+0.6%) was its worst. Monthly figures fill the Monthly Returns (USD) table, and the Annual Price (USD) Change table rolls them into years. They describe past moves and carry no promise about future ones.

Why did Nexo settle with the SEC?

The SEC said Nexo's Earn Interest Product, which paid interest on crypto deposits, was a security that should have been registered. In January 2023, Nexo agreed to pay $45 million, split evenly between the SEC and state regulators. It also agreed to stop offering that product to US investors.

Is NEXO a good investment?

FMchart takes no position on that question and offers no investment advice. NEXO offers loyalty benefits and has a fixed supply, but its value depends on one company's platform, its regulators and its clients' trust. Lending platforms carry counterparty risk, and the token's price has been volatile.

What affects the price of NEXO?

NEXO tends to move with the wider crypto market. Company-specific factors include growth in Nexo's client base, changes to loyalty tiers and rates, and token buybacks. Regulatory decisions and expansion, such as the 2026 US relaunch, also play a part. News about other crypto lenders can affect it as well.
