Volume Bubbles Chart (1h)
Each 1-hour candle's volume is signed by its direction (up candles count as net buying, down candles as net selling) and drawn as a bubble at the closing price, green for buying and red for selling. Bubble size and colour intensity show how strong that flow is compared with the last 300 candles: the strongest 30% get full bubbles with their USD value, the rest stay as small dots. Unusually large bubbles flag aggressive buying or selling worth a closer look, often near breakouts, reversals or key levels.Seasonal Chart
Plots one line per calendar year showing the % change since the start of that year, with the current year highlighted against up to four previous years. Lining the years up on the same calendar shows whether the price tends to rise or fall in the same months, helping you spot recurring seasonal patterns. Treat it as context rather than a forecast: past seasonality does not guarantee future moves.Shiba Inu Markets

About Shiba Inu (SHIB)
Shiba Inu (SHIB) is a memecoin launched in 2020 by an anonymous creator known as Ryoshi. It began as a dog-themed experiment inspired by Dogecoin's popularity. SHIB is a token on Ethereum, and its price is driven largely by community interest and market sentiment rather than by cash flows or a strong built-in use. FMchart displays SHIB through a dollar composite that combines quotes from several large venues.
A quadrillion-token supply
SHIB started with a total supply of one quadrillion tokens, or a thousand trillion. Half was sent to Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin. In May 2021 Buterin moved more than 410 trillion SHIB to a dead address, removing them for good. He gave a further 50 trillion SHIB to an India COVID-19 relief fund. Even after that burn, hundreds of trillions of SHIB remain, which is why one token is priced at a tiny fraction of a cent.
Shibarium and the wider ecosystem
The community has tried to build uses around the token. Shibarium, a layer 2 network connected to Ethereum, offers cheaper transactions and uses BONE as its gas token. The ecosystem also includes ShibaSwap, a decentralized exchange, and related tokens such as BONE and LEASH. Part of Shibarium's fees is used to burn SHIB, but the amounts are small compared with the remaining supply.
The 2025 Shibarium bridge exploit
In September 2025, an attacker compromised the signing keys of 10 of Shibarium's 12 validators. They then borrowed 4.6 million BONE through a flash loan to reach a two-thirds majority and approve fake withdrawals from the bridge to Ethereum. More than $2 million in ETH and SHIB was taken. The team paused staking and moved key funds to a multi-signature wallet. The incident showed how a small validator set can become a weak point.
Holding and moving SHIB
Because SHIB follows Ethereum's ERC-20 standard, it can be stored in any Ethereum wallet and traded on many centralized and decentralized exchanges. Sending it on Ethereum's main chain requires a gas fee paid in ETH, which can be costly for small transfers when the network is busy. Shibarium was built partly to cut those costs. Prices for SHIB are usually shown with many decimal places because each token is worth so little.
What makes SHIB a memecoin
SHIB has no core role that creates steady demand, such as paying fees on a major network. Its value depends mainly on how many people want to hold or trade it. Online communities, exchange listings and broader market moods have driven sharp rallies, and interest has faded just as quickly. That makes SHIB one of the more speculative assets on FMchart, with risks that differ from those of coins tied to working networks. Price moves often say more about trader mood than about the project itself.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) FAQ
What is Shiba Inu (SHIB)?
Shiba Inu is a dog-themed memecoin created in 2020 by an anonymous developer called Ryoshi. SHIB is a token on Ethereum with a supply in the hundreds of trillions. Its community has added projects such as the ShibaSwap exchange and the Shibarium layer 2 network, but SHIB's price is driven mainly by sentiment.
Can Shiba Inu reach 1 cent?
Reaching $0.01 would require an enormous market value. With hundreds of trillions of SHIB in circulation, that price would mean a market capitalization of several trillion dollars, comparable to the very largest companies in the world. That simple calculation, not a forecast, shows the scale involved. Burns so far have removed only a small share of the remaining supply, and FMchart does not make price predictions.
Who created Shiba Inu?
Shiba Inu was created by an anonymous person or group using the name Ryoshi, who launched SHIB in 2020. Half of the original supply was sent to Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin. In May 2021 he burned more than 410 trillion SHIB and donated 50 trillion to an India COVID-19 relief fund.
How much is 1 SHIB worth right now?
One SHIB is worth about $0 on FMchart's composite feed, which combines prices from several large exchanges. Roughly $10.15M of SHIB has traded over the past day across the exchanges in FMchart's composite. Because the price is a small fraction of a cent, it is shown with many decimal places.
What is Shiba Inu's market cap, and how many SHIB are there?
Shiba Inu's market capitalization is about $2.85B, placing it at rank 37. Roughly 589,238,269,922,618 SHIB are in circulation. The original supply was one quadrillion tokens, and more than 410 trillion were burned by Vitalik Buterin in 2021. Later burns have removed much smaller amounts.
What is Shiba Inu's all-time high?
Shiba Inu's all-time high is $0.0001, reached on Oct 27, 2021. SHIB's biggest gains came in fast, hype-driven bursts, and the price fell sharply afterward. A previous record is not a target. The Price Statistics panel lists the all-time low and the percentage distance from both records.
How volatile has SHIB been by month?
In FMchart's composite price history (since September 2021), SHIB's best month is October 2021 (+831.3%), and its worst month is May 2022 (-41.9%). Wide gaps like this are common for memecoins. The Monthly Returns (USD) table shows each month's change, and the Annual Price (USD) Change table covers each year. Past swings say nothing reliable about future ones.
What is Shibarium?
Shibarium is a layer 2 network connected to Ethereum, built by the Shiba Inu ecosystem. It aims to make transactions cheaper than on Ethereum's main chain and uses BONE to pay gas fees. Some of its fees are used to burn SHIB. In September 2025, after attackers compromised most validator keys, its bridge to Ethereum was exploited for more than $2 million.
Is Shiba Inu a good investment?
FMchart does not give investment advice. SHIB is a memecoin whose price depends mainly on sentiment and trading interest, not on strong built-in utility. It has a very large supply, and its ecosystem has faced security problems such as the 2025 Shibarium bridge exploit. Its price has been extremely volatile.
How does the SHIB burn work?
A SHIB burn sends tokens to an address no one can spend from, permanently cutting supply. The largest burn by far was Vitalik Buterin's 410 trillion SHIB in 2021. Later burns, by community members and through Shibarium fees, have been small next to the remaining supply. A lower supply does not by itself guarantee a higher price.
