Volume Bubbles Chart (1h)
Each 1-hour candle's volume is signed by its direction (up candles count as net buying, down candles as net selling) and drawn as a bubble at the closing price, green for buying and red for selling. Bubble size and colour intensity show how strong that flow is compared with the last 300 candles: the strongest 30% get full bubbles with their USD value, the rest stay as small dots. Unusually large bubbles flag aggressive buying or selling worth a closer look, often near breakouts, reversals or key levels.Seasonal Chart
Plots one line per calendar year showing the % change since the start of that year, with the current year highlighted against up to four previous years. Lining the years up on the same calendar shows whether the price tends to rise or fall in the same months, helping you spot recurring seasonal patterns. Treat it as context rather than a forecast: past seasonality does not guarantee future moves.Starknet Markets

About Starknet (STRK)
Starknet (STRK) is a layer-2 network that processes transactions away from Ethereum and proves them back to it with STARK proofs, a type of zero-knowledge cryptography. This keeps fees low while relying on Ethereum for security. STRK pays transaction fees, is staked by validators and delegators, and is used in governance. Price data for this page comes from FMchart's composite, a single US dollar series built from STRK trading on several exchanges.
Validity rollups in plain terms
Starknet bundles many transactions, executes them and posts a compact proof to Ethereum showing the results are correct. Ethereum checks the proof instead of re-running every transaction. This design is called a validity rollup. Starknet also has native account abstraction, so every account is a smart contract. That allows features such as custom signature rules or new ways to pay fees. Since version 0.14.0 in September 2025, fees are paid only in STRK.
Ten billion STRK and the airdrop
STRK has an initial supply of 10 billion tokens, created in May 2022 and minted on Ethereum in November 2022. The biggest allocations went to early contributors (20.04%), investors (18.17%), grants (12.93%) and StarkWare (10.76%), the company that built Starknet. The airdrop opened on 20 February 2024, Decrypt reported. Its first phase made more than 700 million STRK claimable by about 1.3 million eligible wallets.
Monthly unlocks until 2027
Tokens for early contributors and investors unlock on a fixed calendar, revised after community criticism in February 2024. Unlocks ran at 64 million STRK a month from 15 April 2024 to 15 March 2025. From 15 April 2025 they rose to 127 million a month, and they are scheduled to end on 15 March 2027. These steady releases add a predictable amount of STRK to the market every month, on top of new tokens minted as staking rewards.
Staking STRK and Bitcoin
According to documentation reviewed in October 2026, Starknet's staking protocol is in its second phase on mainnet. Validators need at least 20,000 STRK, and other holders can delegate to them. Unstaking involves a 7-day lockup without rewards. New STRK is minted as staking rewards, and the minting rate depends on the share of supply that is staked. Holders of wrapped Bitcoin can also stake on Starknet and earn STRK, with a parameter of 0.25 setting Bitcoin's weight in staking power.
Decentralization still in progress
For most of its life, Starknet relied on a single sequencer, the computer that orders transactions, run by StarkWare. Version 0.14.0 introduced three sequencers that reach consensus with each other. Starknet's roadmap, last updated in March 2026, lists stakers validating blocks and decentralized proving as later stages. Until those stages arrive, users depend on a small set of operators. Competition from other Ethereum rollups and the remaining unlocks are further risks.

Starknet (STRK) FAQ
What is Starknet (STRK)?
Starknet is an Ethereum layer-2 validity rollup that uses STARK proofs to confirm batches of transactions on Ethereum. STRK is its token, used for fees, staking and governance. The initial supply is 10 billion, and the token airdrop opened in February 2024.
When do STRK tokens unlock?
Early contributor and investor tokens unlock monthly on a fixed schedule. It ran at 64 million STRK a month from April 2024 to March 2025, then 127 million a month from 15 April 2025. The schedule, revised in February 2024 after criticism, is set to end on 15 March 2027.
Can you stake Bitcoin on Starknet?
Yes. Holders of wrapped Bitcoin can stake it on Starknet and earn rewards paid in STRK. Starknet's documentation sets a parameter of 0.25 for Bitcoin's weight in staking power, so STRK stakers keep most of the influence over which validators produce and attest to blocks.
How much is STRK worth today?
STRK is worth roughly $0.0459, based on FMchart's composite of several exchanges. Its 24-hour trading volume across the exchanges in FMchart's composite is about $15.64M. The scheduled monthly unlock of 127 million STRK adds new supply until March 2027.
How many STRK tokens are circulating?
Starknet began with 10 billion STRK; contributor and investor tokens unlock monthly until March 2027, and staking mints new rewards. When market data is available, circulating supply and market cap are listed in the Price Statistics panel, and the Rank badge at the top of this page gives the ranking.
What is STRK's highest price ever?
Market data shows STRK topping out at $4.41 on Feb 20, 2024. Much of the supply was still locked at the time, and monthly unlocks have added tokens ever since. The Price Statistics panel lists today's percentage gap from that peak and from the all-time low.
Which months stand out in STRK's price history?
In FMchart's composite price history (since February 2024), STRK's top month was November 2024 (+92.3%), and April 2024 (-43.8%) was its roughest. The Monthly Returns (USD) grid has the full record, with yearly sums under Annual Price (USD) Change. These numbers are a record of the past, not a forecast.
Does STRK have inflation?
Yes. New STRK is minted as staking rewards, and the minting rate depends on how much of the supply is staked. Starknet's documentation says no block rewards are minted while StarkWare is the sole operator of the sequencer. Since version 0.14.0, all transaction fees are paid in STRK.
Is Starknet decentralized?
Partly. Version 0.14.0 replaced the single StarkWare sequencer with three sequencers that reach consensus, and stakers attest to blocks under the second staking phase. Starknet's roadmap lists staker validation of blocks and decentralized proving as later stages, so key roles still rest with a small set of operators.
Is STRK a good investment?
FMchart can't make that call for you, since it provides no investment advice. Starknet runs zero-knowledge proofs on mainnet and a staking system that includes Bitcoin. It also faces monthly unlocks until March 2027, new issuance from staking rewards and competition from many other Ethereum rollups.
