About Theta Fuel (TFUEL)
Theta Fuel (TFUEL) is the operational token of the Theta Network. Theta's documentation describes TFUEL as the gas token used for on-chain operations, including smart contracts and payments to network services.
Theta Network separates TFUEL from THETA. THETA is the governance and staking asset, while TFUEL is used for network operations. This two-token design has been part of Theta's architecture since mainnet.
