Volume Bubbles Chart (1h)
Each 1-hour candle's volume is signed by its direction (up candles count as net buying, down candles as net selling) and drawn as a bubble at the closing price, green for buying and red for selling. Bubble size and colour intensity show how strong that flow is compared with the last 300 candles: the strongest 30% get full bubbles with their USD value, the rest stay as small dots. Unusually large bubbles flag aggressive buying or selling worth a closer look, often near breakouts, reversals or key levels.Seasonal Chart
Plots one line per calendar year showing the % change since the start of that year, with the current year highlighted against up to four previous years. Lining the years up on the same calendar shows whether the price tends to rise or fall in the same months, helping you spot recurring seasonal patterns. Treat it as context rather than a forecast: past seasonality does not guarantee future moves.Theta Network Markets

About Theta Network (THETA)
Theta Network (THETA) is the staking token of Theta, a blockchain paired with a network of edge computers for AI, video and other workloads. Theta describes itself as a dual network: Theta EdgeCloud and the Theta blockchain. A second token, TFUEL, pays for operations. FMchart shows THETA at its composite price, collected from several exchanges and converted to US dollars.
THETA and TFUEL
Theta uses two tokens. The supply of THETA is fixed at 1 billion and will never increase, according to the docs. TFUEL is the operational token, used for payments to edge nodes for AI computation, video encoding and 3D rendering, and for running smart contracts. There were 5 billion TFUEL at genesis, and TFUEL supply grows each year at a fixed rate set by the protocol. The docs also describe TFUEL staking to Elite Edge Nodes, part of the Theta 3.0 design announced in December 2020.
Validators and Guardian nodes
Validator Nodes propose and finalize new blocks, while Guardian Nodes seal blocks and act as a check on faulty or malicious validators. To run a Guardian Node, a holder must stake at least 1,000 THETA. Enterprise Validator Nodes are run by large companies. A July 2026 Theta update listed Google, Samsung, Sony, CAA, Binance, Deutsche Telekom, Docomo Global and Cloudician, with ZAN joining. Guardian operators also need at least 1 TFUEL in their wallet to pay the staking transaction fee.
EdgeCloud and edge nodes
Theta EdgeCloud is a hybrid cloud and edge computing platform for AI, launched on May 1, 2024. It is powered by the Theta Edge Network, a decentralized network of community-run nodes. Theta's documentation describes more than 10,000 active nodes offering GPU compute, a figure the page does not date. Theta's docs say all community members will be able to share in rewards from EdgeCloud AI, video, 3D rendering and gaming jobs. The docs put this network's compute at 80 PetaFLOPS, which they compare to 250 Nvidia A100 GPUs.
Whistleblower lawsuits
As reported by Decrypt in December 2025, two former senior executives at Theta Labs, Jerry Kowal and Andrea Berry, filed separate whistleblower lawsuits in Los Angeles Superior Court. They allege that the company and CEO Mitch Liu engaged in deception, market manipulation and retaliation. These are allegations, not findings by a court. The sources cited here do not report a court ruling.
Competition, TFUEL supply and legal risk
THETA's role depends on demand for EdgeCloud and on staking by validators and Guardian nodes. Competition in AI computing is intense, with large cloud providers and other decentralized networks. TFUEL's growing supply affects network economics. The lawsuits filed in December 2025 add legal and reputational uncertainty. Enterprise validators run nodes, which is different from investing in or endorsing the token. Lawsuits also take time, and their outcome cannot be known in advance.

Theta Network (THETA) FAQ
What is Theta Network (THETA)?
THETA is the staking token of Theta, a blockchain paired with the Theta Edge Network of community-run computers. Its supply is fixed at 1 billion. A second token, TFUEL, pays for operations such as AI computing, video encoding and smart contracts.
What is the difference between THETA and TFUEL?
THETA has a fixed supply of 1 billion and is staked by validators and Guardian nodes to secure the network. TFUEL is the operational token, paid to edge nodes for work and used for smart contracts. TFUEL started with 5 billion at genesis and its supply grows each year.
How do you stake THETA?
One way is to run a Guardian Node, which requires staking at least 1,000 THETA and holding at least 1 TFUEL for the transaction fee. Guardian Nodes seal blocks and check Validator Nodes, while large companies run Enterprise Validator Nodes.
What is THETA's price right now?
THETA's composite price on FMchart is about $0.178, gathered from several exchanges and stated in US dollars. Some $570.6K worth of THETA changed hands over 24 hours across the exchanges in FMchart's composite, and the token ranks 187 by market cap.
Is THETA's supply fixed?
Yes. THETA's supply is fixed at 1 billion and will never increase, and about 1,000,000,000 THETA are circulating today. At the composite price, that comes to a market cap near $178.0M. TFUEL, Theta's second token, is the one whose supply grows.
What was THETA's all-time high?
THETA's all-time high was $15.72, on Apr 16, 2021. Price Statistics measures the gap between that record and today's quote, and between today and the lowest price on record. A past peak is no indication of where THETA will trade, as demand depends on staking and EdgeCloud use.
Which months were strongest and weakest for THETA?
Monthly Returns (USD) on this page shows THETA's gain or loss for each month in FMchart's composite price history. Annual Price (USD) Change gives the full-year result, Quarterly Closing Price (USD) lists quarter-end prices and Historical data shows daily prices.
What is Theta EdgeCloud?
Theta EdgeCloud is a hybrid cloud and edge computing platform for AI, launched on May 1, 2024. It draws on the Theta Edge Network, which Theta's docs describe, without a date, as more than 10,000 active community-run nodes offering GPU compute for AI, video and rendering jobs.
Who are Theta's validators?
Theta's Enterprise Validator Nodes are run by large companies. A July 2026 Theta update listed Google, Samsung, Sony, CAA, Binance, Deutsche Telekom, Docomo Global and Cloudician, with ZAN, the Web3 brand of Ant Digital Technologies, joining as a validator operator.
What is the Theta lawsuit about?
Two former Theta Labs executives filed separate whistleblower lawsuits in Los Angeles in December 2025. They allege that the company and CEO Mitch Liu engaged in deception, market manipulation and retaliation. These are allegations, not findings by a court, as reported by Decrypt in December 2025.
