Volume Bubbles Chart (1h)

Each 1-hour candle's volume is signed by its direction (up candles count as net buying, down candles as net selling) and drawn as a bubble at the closing price, green for buying and red for selling. Bubble size and colour intensity show how strong that flow is compared with the last 300 candles: the strongest 30% get full bubbles with their USD value, the rest stay as small dots. Unusually large bubbles flag aggressive buying or selling worth a closer look, often near breakouts, reversals or key levels.

Seasonal Chart

Plots one line per calendar year showing the % change since the start of that year, with the current year highlighted against up to four previous years. Lining the years up on the same calendar shows whether the price tends to rise or fall in the same months, helping you spot recurring seasonal patterns. Treat it as context rather than a forecast: past seasonality does not guarantee future moves.

About Monero (XMR)

**Monero (XMR)** is a cryptocurrency whose official FAQ says that all transactions on the network are private by mandate, with no way to accidentally send a transparent transaction. The FAQ names three technologies: ring signatures, which hide the sender; stealth addresses, which hide the receiver; and ring confidential transactions (RingCT), which hide the amount. The Monero homepage describes it as a private, decentralized and community-run cryptocurrency.

Ring signatures and sender privacy

Monero's technical specification gives a ring size of 16, including 15 decoys, for ring signatures. The signatures make it harder to identify which input is the actual spend among the set of possible inputs.

Stealth addresses and RingCT

Stealth addresses hide the receiver, and ring confidential transactions hide the transaction amount. The homepage describes Monero as money that can be exchanged for goods, services and other currencies, privately and with very low fees.

Tail emission and supply

Monero has a fixed emission rate rather than a set maximum supply, according to its FAQ. Tail emission started at block 2,641,623 on June 9, 2022 at 00:29 UTC. Emission is set at 0.6 XMR per block, or 0.3 XMR per minute, and blocks are added approximately every two minutes. The technical specification describes this as less than 1% inflation that decreases over time.

Reading XMR market history

FMchart displays a composite XMR price in USD based on supported exchange markets. Historical returns describe the available market series, not the strength of Monero's privacy technology or the number of private transactions. Use the official Monero documentation for technical privacy and emission details, and the FMchart chart for viewing the available composite price history.
