Volume Bubbles Chart (1h)

Each 1-hour candle's volume is signed by its direction (up candles count as net buying, down candles as net selling) and drawn as a bubble at the closing price, green for buying and red for selling. Bubble size and colour intensity show how strong that flow is compared with the last 300 candles: the strongest 30% get full bubbles with their USD value, the rest stay as small dots. Unusually large bubbles flag aggressive buying or selling worth a closer look, often near breakouts, reversals or key levels.

Seasonal Chart

Plots one line per calendar year showing the % change since the start of that year, with the current year highlighted against up to four previous years. Lining the years up on the same calendar shows whether the price tends to rise or fall in the same months, helping you spot recurring seasonal patterns. Treat it as context rather than a forecast: past seasonality does not guarantee future moves.

About Hyperliquid (HYPE)

**Hyperliquid (HYPE)** is the native token of Hyperliquid, a layer-1 blockchain whose HyperCore engine runs on-chain perpetual futures and spot order books. HYPE launched through the Genesis distribution on November 29, 2024, which distributed 31% of the total supply to approximately 100,000 eligible users. The price shown on this page is FMchart's composite of exchange prices converted to US dollars.

What HYPE is used for

HYPE is used for staking on Hyperliquid. Holders can delegate HYPE to validators, which produce blocks and earn rewards in proportion to the stake delegated to them. Staking takes place within HyperCore, and rewards come from a future emissions reserve. Delegations have a one-day lockup, and moving HYPE from the staking account back to spot is subject to a 7-day unstaking queue. The market price shown on this page is separate from these protocol functions.

The Assistance Fund and token purchases

A Form S-1 registration statement filed by Hyperliquid Strategies Inc. on September 14, 2026 states that 99% of Hyperliquid's revenues are allocated to the Assistance Fund for the repurchase of HYPE tokens. The allocation increased from 97% to 99% following a Hyperliquid announcement on August 26, 2025. Only a portion of acquired tokens may be sent to a burn wallet. The same filing states that 47.1 million HYPE tokens have been acquired by the Assistance Fund and permanently removed from circulation. Purchases and burns do not guarantee a higher market price.

Supply and distribution

The S-1 states that HYPE's total supply is capped at 1 billion tokens. The Genesis distribution released 310 million tokens (31.0%) on November 29, 2024. A further 388 million tokens (38.9%) are reserved for future emissions and community rewards, subject to cliff vesting. Approximately 238 million tokens, or 23.8% of the total current supply, began vesting in November 2025. Because of these vesting and emission schedules, circulating supply can differ from total supply over time even though the cap is fixed.

Hyperliquid's trading system

Hyperliquid's documentation states that HyperCore handles on-chain perpetual futures and spot order books, with one-block finality. HYPE's market value is influenced by factors including token supply, staking activity and wider crypto-market conditions. No single factor determines future price movements.

Reading the FMchart page

FMchart presents a composite HYPE price derived from trading across multiple supported venues and converted to USD. The Markets section lists venues and available spot or perpetual markets; historical tables show returns only for the periods covered by FMchart's own price history. That history may differ from another provider's series because venues, quote conversions and available dates can differ. The price chart is a market-data view, not a forecast or a statement of protocol performance.
