Volume Bubbles Chart (1h)
Each 1-hour candle's volume is signed by its direction (up candles count as net buying, down candles as net selling) and drawn as a bubble at the closing price, green for buying and red for selling. Bubble size and colour intensity show how strong that flow is compared with the last 300 candles: the strongest 30% get full bubbles with their USD value, the rest stay as small dots. Unusually large bubbles flag aggressive buying or selling worth a closer look, often near breakouts, reversals or key levels.Seasonal Chart
Plots one line per calendar year showing the % change since the start of that year, with the current year highlighted against up to four previous years. Lining the years up on the same calendar shows whether the price tends to rise or fall in the same months, helping you spot recurring seasonal patterns. Treat it as context rather than a forecast: past seasonality does not guarantee future moves.Jupiter Markets

About Jupiter (JUP)
Jupiter (JUP) is the governance token of Jupiter, a trading platform on the Solana blockchain. Jupiter is best known as a swap aggregator, a tool that searches many liquidity sources to route a trade. It also offers perpetual futures, limit orders and dollar-cost averaging (DCA). JUP holders vote on Jupiter DAO proposals. FMchart prices JUP with a composite that merges quotes from several venues into one USD value.
How Jupiter routes a swap
When someone swaps one Solana token for another, Jupiter checks liquidity from many sources, both on-chain and off-chain, and picks a route for the trade. The protocol earns fees from spot swaps, perpetuals, limit orders, DCA and aggregation. JUP is, and according to the team will remain, the protocol's only governance token. Jupiter's documentation says holding JUP does not give a direct share of those fees. The team may issue product receipt tokens, such as liquidity or staking receipts, but says none will affect JUP's economics.
Staking, voting and quarterly rewards
To vote, holders stake JUP in the DAO's governance contract at vote.jup.ag. Unstaking takes a fixed seven-day wait that cannot be shortened. During that cooldown, voting power falls at once for a partial unstake, or gradually over the seven days for a full one. The request can be cancelled before it ends. Stakers can earn Active Staking Rewards (ASR), paid each quarter according to time-weighted stake. Jupiter also ran a yearly community airdrop called Jupuary, which the DAO later voted to postpone.
The 3 billion JUP burn
In January 2025, at its first Catstanbul event, Jupiter announced plans to burn 3 billion JUP. The team said the goals were to reduce emissions, increase certainty and lower the fully diluted value. Its pseudonymous founder, known as Meow, also said half of protocol fee revenue would go to buying JUP. A non-profit entity, the Litterbox Trust, makes those purchases on-chain and holds them as a reserve.
The 2026 net zero emissions vote
In February 2026, about 75% of more than 480 million votes backed a plan to stop net new emissions. Jupuary was postponed indefinitely, and roughly 700 million JUP prepared for it moved to community cold storage. Using those tokens later would need DAO approval. The plan also said buybacks would absorb any selling by team members and by Mercurial, an early stakeholder group. Buybacks funded by half of on-chain revenue continue, and Jupiter's documentation, reviewed in October 2026, puts the Litterbox Trust's burns at about 134 million JUP.
Tied to Solana trading activity
JUP's prospects are closely linked to Jupiter's trading volume and to Solana. Lower activity means less revenue for buybacks. Rival aggregators and exchanges can draw users away, and smart contract bugs or network outages are always possible. Future DAO votes could change token policy again. JUP has also moved sharply in both directions since it began trading.

Jupiter (JUP) FAQ
What is Jupiter (JUP)?
JUP is the governance token of Jupiter, a Solana trading platform known for its swap aggregator. Jupiter also offers perpetuals, limit orders and DCA. Holders stake JUP to vote in the Jupiter DAO and can earn quarterly Active Staking Rewards. Holding JUP does not give a direct share of protocol fees.
What is Jupuary?
Jupuary is the name of Jupiter's yearly JUP airdrop to community members. In February 2026, the DAO voted to postpone it indefinitely, and about 700 million JUP set aside for it went back to community cold storage. Restarting it, or using those tokens another way, would need a new DAO decision.
How do Jupiter's JUP buybacks work?
Half of Jupiter's on-chain revenue goes to the Litterbox Trust, a non-profit entity that buys JUP on the open market. The purchased tokens form a long-term strategic reserve, and the trust has burned about 134 million JUP. Holders do not receive fees directly, so buybacks are how revenue reaches the token market.
What does one JUP cost right now?
A single JUP costs about $0.2748 on FMchart's composite, a US dollar figure assembled from several exchanges. Daily turnover is around $3.21M across the exchanges in FMchart's composite. Solana DEX prices and centralized exchange quotes can drift slightly apart from this blended value.
What is Jupiter's market cap and circulating supply?
About 3,319,369,204 JUP are circulating, which at today's price gives a market cap near $912.3M and rank 79. Supply growth slowed after the 2025 burn of 3 billion tokens and the February 2026 vote to pause net new emissions. Tokens in community cold storage need a DAO vote before use.
What was JUP's peak price?
JUP's highest recorded price is $2, from Jan 31, 2024, per market data. The token later fell a long way from that mark, which shows how quickly sentiment around it can shift. To see both extremes, compare the all-time high and low in the Price Statistics panel.
What were JUP's best and worst months?
In FMchart's composite price history (since September 2024), the standout month for JUP was September 2026 (+47.5%), while March 2025 (-44.1%) was the roughest. The full run of months is in the Monthly Returns (USD) table, and quarter-end levels follow in the Quarterly Closing Price (USD) table. A short record like this is a weak guide to later behavior.
Why did Jupiter burn 3 billion JUP?
Jupiter said the 3 billion JUP burn, announced in January 2025, was meant to reduce emissions, increase certainty and lower the token's fully diluted value. It was revealed at the Catstanbul event together with a plan to send half of protocol fees to JUP buybacks held by the Litterbox Trust.
Is JUP a good investment?
That depends on your goals and risk tolerance, and FMchart does not give investment advice. JUP benefits from revenue-funded buybacks and lower emissions, but it depends on one platform's trading volume, on Solana and on DAO decisions that can change. Its price has been very volatile.
What drives the JUP price?
JUP often follows Solana and the wider crypto market. Platform-specific drivers include Jupiter's trading volume and revenue and the size of Litterbox Trust buybacks. DAO votes on emissions or airdrops, and rival Solana trading apps, also matter. Large token movements from community or team wallets can also affect sentiment.
