BNB Market Overview: Spot vs Derivatives, Market Share & Liquidations
BNB market data from the exchanges FMchart tracks is combined here: the composite BNB price, market cap and rank, 24-hour spot volume, open interest, the BNB funding rate and liquidations. BNB is the native token of BNB Chain, and the market share panel shows whether its share of spot and derivatives trading keeps pace with its market-cap dominance.

BNB FAQ
What does BNB's spot volume share versus derivatives volume share show?
Spot volume share reflects how much BNB is traded outright, while derivatives volume share reflects leveraged futures activity. When the derivatives share runs well ahead of spot, more of BNB's trading is speculative positioning; when spot leads, activity is driven more by buying and selling the token itself.
How are BNB's market cap and rank calculated?
Market cap is the FMchart composite BNB price multiplied by circulating supply, and the rank orders BNB against other crypto assets by that figure. Because the price is an hourly composite of the spot exchanges FMchart tracks, market cap can differ slightly from sites that use one venue or another supply source.
What does the BNB liquidation heatmap add?
The open interest table shows how much leverage exists; the heatmap estimates where it could be forced out. Over 30 days it maps price levels with concentrated estimated BNB liquidations, so you can see whether exposure is building close to the current price or sits far away from it.
How often is the BNB data updated?
Price, market cap, volume, open interest and liquidations refresh hourly, and funding rates update for each funding period. The page is designed for following the BNB market over hours and days, not for timing individual trades by the second.
